Youth Work Programmes

Youth work:

Finding your strength, backing your future.

Life’s not always simple. Sometimes you just need someone who gets it, someone in your corner who’ll listen, support, and help you take the next step. That’s what our youth workers do. At Te Tahi Youth, youth work is about walking alongside you, building confidence, and helping you move towards where you want to be. And because we’re one team, you’ll also have access to counselling, doctors, nurses, employment support, and social workers if you need them.

How youth work can help:

  • Standing with you so your voice is heard
  • Building life skills and confidence
  • Finding your way through community services
  • Support with school, training, or job pathways
  • Budgeting, housing, or financial help (like Youth Payment)
  • Being there when you feel stuck, worried, or overwhelmed
  • Connecting you to the right people at Te Tahi Youth for extra support

Youth Work Programmes

Build confidence. Find connection. Discover your strengths.

Our Youth Work Programmes are designed for rangatahi aged 12–24 who want to build confidence, develop new skills, and challenge themselves in a supportive environment.

Whether you’re looking to grow your confidence, improve your wellbeing, find your direction, or become a leader in your community, there’s a programme designed to help you take the next step.

Each programme runs for 15 weeks and includes weekly sessions where you’ll build new skills, connect with other young people, and be supported by our Youth Workers every step of the way.
