Te Tahi Youth isn’t a crisis service, but we want to make sure you know exactly where to go when you need urgent support.

🚑 For medical emergencies.
- Call 111 and ask for an ambulance, or go straight to the Emergency Department at Christchurch Hospital.
- You can also visit the 24-Hour Surgery, 401 Madras Street (near Bealey Ave). Please note: there may be a cost for this service.
🧠 For urgent mental health support.
- Crisis Resolution: specialist help for mental health emergencies. Free call 0800 920 092.

- Healthline: talk to a registered nurse, available 24/7.

Remember: Reaching out for help is a brave and important step.
You don’t need to have all the answers or know exactly what to say, just making that first call or sending that first text is enough.
Asking for help doesn’t make you weak, it shows courage. And the sooner you reach out, the sooner things can start to feel a little lighter.
