Mental health & wellbeing support

Looking after your mental health, together.

Counselling, therapy, and wrap-around support to help rangatahi feel heard, supported, and stronger.

Life can feel really heavy sometimes. You might be stressed, down, anxious, or just not yourself, and that’s okay. Sometimes whānau notice things too, we’re here for them as well. Talking it through and getting the right support can make a huge difference. At Te Tahi Youth, you don’t have to figure it out on your own.

We’ve got counsellors, youth workers, social workers, doctors, and nurses who all work together. You don’t need to know what ‘type’ of support you need before reaching out. We’ll figure it out together and walk alongside you.

How we can help.

We can support you with things like:

  • Talking stuff through in counselling
  • Having a safe space when things feel overwhelming
  • Help with feeling anxious, down, stuck, or stressed
  • Support with friendships, whānau challenges, or relationships
  • School, work, or future pressures that feel like too much
  • Mentoring and youth work to build confidence and connection
  • Practical help from our social workers to link you with the right services or resources

Everyone’s journey is different. We’ll find what works best for you.

To use our mental health support, you’ll need to be registered with Te Tahi Youth. You can refer yourself, or someone else can refer you.
