Build confidence. Use your voice. Step into leadership.
We know that rangatahi already have ideas, opinions, and perspectives that matter. Our new Youth Voice & Leadership Group is about creating space for those voices to grow, supported by structure, connection, and guidance along the way.
This 15-week programme is a group-based journey for young people aged 12–24 who are ready to show up, try something new, and learn alongside others. Through weekly sessions lasting 60–90 minutes, participants will build confidence, develop leadership skills, and strengthen their ability to communicate, work as a team, and set meaningful goals.
The programme is intentionally group-focused, offering a supportive and strengths-based environment where rangatahi can connect with peers and learn through shared experiences. Mentoring support is included throughout the programme, helping participants reflect on their progress and explore how their skills and ideas can translate into real-world opportunities.
This group is for young people who want to grow, whether that means building confidence, meeting new people, developing leadership skills, or simply having a space where their voice is valued. No prior experience is needed, just a willingness to take part and give it a go.
Our aim is to run the first Youth Voice & Leadership Group from 19 March, subject to generating enough interest.
