We are not a crisis service, but don’t worry – we know just who you can talk to. You are not alone.

Medical emergency? Go to the Emergency Department at Christchurch Hospital or call 111 for an ambulance.

Emergency mental health support? Call Crisis Resolution free on 0800 920 092.

Medical advice over the phone? Call Healthline free on 0800 611 116. 

To see a nurse or doctor, head to the 24-hour surgery at 401 Madras Street, near Bealey Ave. There is a cost for these services.

If you need someone to talk to, call Youthline for free on 0800 37 66 33 or free text 234.

You can also free call or free text 1737 to speak with a counsellor or peer support worker.

The most important thing you need to do is ask for help.
