We are on the hunt for some fresh faces to join the Board of Trustees of Te Tahi Youth. We have two positions open for board members and one position open for a youth board member (under 25 years old).
What can we offer?
The opportunity to be part of an impactful organisation providing free health and wellbeing services to rangatahi in Christchurch. From medical or mental health support to mentoring and employment services, our unique ‘youth one-stop-shop’ ensures our young people receive the wrap-around care and support they need to thrive. And it’s not just young people who benefit from our service. By supporting individuals, we are strengthening communities.
What are we looking for?
We’ve got some great people sitting around our board table, offering a real mix of skill sets. To complement our team, we’re looking for someone with:
- Prior governance experience
- Experience working with young people – either in a paid or voluntary capacity
- Empathy and understanding of the not-for-profit health sector
- An understanding of volunteering and fundraising (you don’t need to have necessarily been either, but we’d love someone with an understanding of these roles within an organisation)
